Candy Cigarettes

While purchasing a Strawberry Crush and a Lance’s Triple Nut Bar at Oakhill Grocery, I found these on the shelf.  Now I’m old enough to remember these from my childhood, but I thought tobacco-like products for children had been outlawed?  There used to be one brand that had a red colored cherry on the end like it was lit.

  1. loved them when I was a kid and have never lit a real one in my life….. great find and thanks for the memories….

  2. I can’t believe these are still sold as well. Did you check the expiration date on those?? I loved those as a kid – pure sugar and it never took long to eat the whole pack.

  3. I remember them too! But I thought they were no longer for sell, until recently, when my 3 year old granddaughter informed me you could buy candy cigarettes. Yuck!
    God Bless You!

  4. Hello,
    Cool site!
I’m Erin Servey, a writer for Spoon University, and I’m writing a story about 9 best foods to play with. If it’s okay with you, I’d love to use this photo ( of the candy cigareets you used in an article, in my article and of course give you proper photo credit. Also, if you took the picture, I can use an actual name instead of the website name.
If you could let me know ASAP, that would be great.
Thanks so much ahead of time.
